Basketball Recap: Grandview Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Grandview Bulldogs came up short against the Raytown Bluejays and fell 54-47.

When it comes to explaining why Grandview lost, don't look at Danny Richardson. Despite the final result, he posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Jabari Strother, who scored eight points.

Grandview's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Raytown, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Grandview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-38 loss against Liberty North on the 11th. As for Raytown, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Fort Osage at 7:00 p.m. on December 17th.
