Volleyball Recap: Percy Julian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Percy Julian lost against Wetumpka back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Phoenix came up short against the Indians, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-2, 25-6, 25-8.

Ashlynn Turner had an outrageously good game for Wetumpka as she had ten aces and eight digs. That's the most digs Turner has posted since back in October of 2024. Cheyenne Boshell was another key player, getting 18 assists.

Percy Julian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Wetumpka, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Wetumpka has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Holtville on the 15th. Hopefully Percy Julian paid attention to the Indians' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Indians at 5:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
