Softball Recap: Delta Charter Storm vs. Sicily Island Tigers

In what's become a running theme this season, Delta Charter gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They beat the Sicily Island Tigers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 16-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Delta Charter.

Rami Burks was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Burks was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Lainey Sharp was a standout: she got no hits from her one at bat. Another player making a difference was Maklyn Smith, who scored a run and stole three bases.

Delta Charter has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-15 record this season.
