Softball Recap: Phoenix Takes a Loss

Phoenix lost against Henley back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pirates fell 7-4 to the Hornets.

Carsyn Sousa made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Keelie Woodside, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Phoenix's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Henley, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Phoenix nor Henley have any future games scheduled.
