Basketball Recap: Dodgeland Takes a Loss

Dodgeland lost against Waterloo back in January of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Dodgeland Trojans took a 69-55 bruising from the Waterloo Pirates. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Trojans came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 195th, while the Pirates are ranked 488th).

Dodgeland's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Waterloo, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dodgeland will square off against Wayland Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waterloo, they will welcome Cambridge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
