Baseball Recap: Seminole Ridge Victorious

Seminole Ridge won the last time they faced Forest Hill and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Seminole Ridge Hawks walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Forest Hill Falcons.

Seminole Ridge got a great performance from Dylan Peek as he tossed 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. What's more, Peek also racked up five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

On the hitting side, Seminole Ridge let Nikolas Halleran and Grady Endemann loose on the outfield. Halleran scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Endemann scored a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Halleran a new career-high in doubles (two). Brandon Turner also deserves some recognition as he hit his first hits of the season.

Seminole Ridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Seminole Ridge's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Forest Hill, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seminole Ridge will challenge Dr. Joaquin Garcia at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forest Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Spanish River at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
