Pahranagat Valley was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Tonopah on Friday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Muckers with a sharp 21-0 victory. Considering the Panthers have won 16 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Hadee Walch made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Shada Spencer, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Rylee Lewis also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Pahranagat Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tonopah only posted an OBP of .100.

Pahranagat Valley is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Tonopah, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pahranagat Valley beat the Muckers by a score of 15-0 later that day.
