Softball Recap: Wilmot Takes a Loss

Wilmot blew Badger out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Badger got their revenge. The Panthers fell just short of the Badgers by a score of 4-2. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly two runs.

Payton Biddle spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks.

Wilmot dropped their record down to 1-10 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Badger, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

While Wilmot had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
