Football Recap: New Auburn's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

New Auburn was the 60-44 winner over Alma Center Lincoln when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 30-28 on Thursday. The loss was the Trojans' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, New Auburn fell to 3-1. As for Alma Center Lincoln, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

New Auburn will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Clayton at 12:00 p.m. on the 27th. As for Alma Center Lincoln, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lake Holcombe at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
