Baseball Recap: Munroe Takes a Loss

Munroe fell victim to Madison County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 20-0 to the Madison County Cowboys. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Bobcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Munroe's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Madison County, their record now sits at 4-5.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Munroe Bobcats take on L.E.A.D. Academy Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Munroe has given up an average of 13.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Madison County, they will take on Aucilla Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
