Recap: Dunwoody Wildcats vs. Lee County Trojans
Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, the Dunwoody Wildcats couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were dealt a 51-14 loss at the hands of Lee County on Friday. Dunwoody was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-7.
Leading Lee County to victory were Weston Bryan and Ousmane Kromah. Bryan threw for 145 yards and four touchdowns while completing 86.4% of his passes, while Kromah gained 125 total yards and four touchdowns. Jeremiah Jackson also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Dunwoody's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Lee County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
Dunwoody does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lee County will be playing at home against Lovejoy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lovejoy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
