Softball Recap: ESTEM Comes Up Short

ESTEM was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the White County Central Bears, falling 14-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Friday.

ESTEM's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for White County Central, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. ESTEM will square off against Fountain Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cobras have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed nine runs per game on average), something the Mets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for White County Central, they will head out to challenge Newport at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
