Soccer Game Preview: North Side vs. Trimble Tech

For the first time this season, North Side will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will challenge the Trimble Tech Bulldogs at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. North Side's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for North Side's offense. They lost 4-0 to Boswell on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, North Side can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 622nd, while Boswell are ranked 280th).

Meanwhile, Trimble Tech also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Cleburne on Saturday, falling 9-0.

Trimble Tech's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for North Side, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

North Side beat Trimble Tech 3-1 in their previous matchup back in February of 2025. Do the Steers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
