Baseball Recap: Broadmoor Takes a Loss

Broadmoor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 17-2 to the McKinley Panthers. If the Buccaneers were looking for revenge after losing 25-8 to the Panthers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Broadmoor saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was M Bolivar, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Another was Q. Morehouse, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Broadmoor's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for McKinley, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Broadmoor will square off against East Iberville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for McKinley, they will face off against Northeast at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
