Football Recap: Meridian Mustangs vs. Skyline Hawks
If Meridian was riding high fresh off their 41-0 takedown of Manassas Park last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Meridian Mustangs took a 27-15 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Skyline Hawks on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now lost three in a row.
Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Skyline, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.
