Pendleton County played in-conference for the first time on Wednesday and got just the result they were looking for. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Nicholas County Bluejackets. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Bluejackets: they've now won four in a row.

Pendleton County's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Nicholas County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.

Coincidentally, Pendleton County and Nicholas County will both be playing Robertson County the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Black Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Bluejackets will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
