Volleyball Recap: Sharon Beats Titusville for Their Fourth Straight Win

Sharon waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Titusville Rockets. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Rockets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Sharon wouldn't go down easily and took Titusville into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-13, 25-17, 20-25, 15-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sharon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alauna Wilson, who had 30 digs and 12 kills. Those 30 digs gave Wilson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emmalie Yobe, who had 15 digs, five kills, and two aces.

Sharon's record is now 10-4-1. As for Titusville, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Sharon will venture away from home to square off against Jamestown at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Titusville, they will head out to face off against Slippery Rock at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
