Football Recap: North Dallas Bulldogs vs. Life Oak Cliff Lions
North Dallas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell just short of the Life Oak Cliff Lions by a score of 30-28. Life Oak Cliff found their leader in underclassman Camren Phillips, who threw for 382 yards and four touchdowns, and also punched in a rushing score. Jatavion Smith-Adams helped Phillips out on the ground, picking up 120 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 78 yards.
North Dallas' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Life Oak Cliff, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
North Dallas will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Ranchview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Life Oak Cliff, they will welcome Trinity Leadership at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
