The Martin County Tigers will take on the John Carroll Catholic Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
John Carroll Catholic will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Martin County extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. Everything went the Tigers' way against Treasure Coast as they made off with a 13-1 win.

Brealyn White made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That triple was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Ariana Arroyo was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two triples, one run, and one RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kalei Bertke, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Martin County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. They are 5-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, John Carroll Catholic made easy work of Dwyer on Tuesday and carried off an 8-2 victory.
Like Martin County, John Carroll Catholic also got a great game from a two-way player: Makayla Ortiz. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Ortiz was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Briley Orton, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. Samantha Rychter was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
John Carroll Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Martin County, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Martin County hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like John Carroll Catholic struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
