Baseball Recap: Hancock Takes a Loss

Hancock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 9-4 to the Pascagoula Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Hawks have lost by exactly five runs.

Brandon Arcement was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Pascagoula, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hancock will host West Harrison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hancock is facing West Harrison at the right time seeing as West Harrison is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Pascagoula, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Pascagoula Panthers take on Long Beach Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
