After low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Gateway brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They blew past the Thornton Trojans, posting a 45-8 victory. The Olympians have beaten the Trojans the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Trojans has come to flipping the script.

Gateway didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jake Brock and Adriel Krangar.

Gateway's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-6. As for Thornton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
