Recap: Kew Forest Jaguars vs. Varsity Opponent
The Kew Forest Jaguars lost to Varsity Opponent back in January of 2016, but the Kew Forest Jaguars didn't allow Varsity Opponent the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Kew Forest took their game at home with ease, bagging a 73-22 victory over Varsity Opponent. With Kew Forest ahead 51-13 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Joshua Paz had a dynamite game for Kew Forest, scoring 32 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sebastien Celestin, who scored 18 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Kew Forest and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Varsity Opponent, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 18 of their last 21 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 54-242-3 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kew Forest will face off against Stony Brook at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to face off against Oak Ridge Military Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
