Volleyball Recap: Warren Central Takes a Loss

Warren Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Union Yellowjackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Warren Central was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring zero points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0.

Warren Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Union, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Warren Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Canton on the 26th. Union has also already played their next contest (against Hartfield Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
