Basketball Recap: C.H. Friend Takes a Loss

C.H. Friend was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Lynchburg HomeSchool Patriots, falling 83-55. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Jackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 82-45 last Monday.

Several Red Jackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kohl Orendorf, who posted 23 points. The game was Orendorf's third in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Gabe King, who earned 14 points.

C.H. Friend's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Lynchburg HomeSchool, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9.

C.H. Friend does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lynchburg HomeSchool, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 61-57 victory against Eastern Shore HomeSchool on the 8th.
