Volleyball Recap: Pewaukee Wins Going Away Against Waukesha South

Pewaukee won the last time they faced Waukesha South and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pirates were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Blackshirts.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Pewaukee was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-4, 25-14.

Talia Piotrowski was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven aces and four digs. Those seven aces gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Padilla, who had 12 digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Pewaukee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Pewaukee's win bumped their record up to 21-11. As for Waukesha South, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

Pewaukee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Waukesha South, they will face off against Nicolet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
