Basketball Recap: Dixie Takes a Loss

Dixie lost against Preble Shawnee back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dixie Greyhounds took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Preble Shawnee Arrows. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dixie now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Preble Shawnee, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dixie will take on Ansonia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dixie is facing Ansonia at the right time seeing as Ansonia is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Preble Shawnee, they will face off against Dayton Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
