Softball Recap: Madera Coyotes vs. Sanger West Hornets

While Madera put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Sanger West. The Coyotes walked away with a 4-0 win over the Hornets. The Coyotes haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Not much got past Isabella Aguirre, who gave up just two hits and racked up 14 Ks to keep Sanger West off the board. Those 14 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Aguirre.

On the hitting side, Madera's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Destinee Avila, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
