Make it 11 blowout wins for the Wayne Country Day Chargers this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Wayne Christian 72-41 at home. The victory was nothing new for Wayne Country Day as they're now sitting on five straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wayne Country Day to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carlos Vazquez, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayleb Coles, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds.
Wayne Country Day is on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 22 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season. As for Wayne Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.
Wayne Country Day will head out on the road to take on the Knights at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wayne Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
