Basketball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson lost against Grosse Ile back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jefferson Bears fell 62-55 to the Grosse Ile Red Devils.

Jefferson's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-11. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Grosse Ile, they moved to 8-9 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson will host Airport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grosse Ile, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Flat Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
