Basketball Recap: MacArthur Comes Up Short

MacArthur lost against Bishop McGuinness back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Highlanders fell 63-55 to the Fighting Irish.

Bishop McGuinness got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Riley Sneller out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds. Isaiah Nelson was another key player, shooting 45% from the field on his way to 16 points and five assists.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bishop McGuinness, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

MacArthur has already played their next contest, an 85-36 loss against Lawton on the 9th. As for Bishop McGuinness, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-61 victory against Duncan on the 9th.
