Softball Recap: Yoncalla Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Yoncalla's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Oakland Oakers on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Oakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for Yoncalla and nudges their season record down to 2-11. As for Oakland, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yoncalla will venture away from home to face off against Myrtle Point at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Oakland, they will head out to challenge Illinois Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
