Volleyball Recap: James Irwin Comes Up Short + How To Watch

James Irwin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Banning Lewis Academy Stallions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-12, 25-11.

James Irwin's offense was headlined by Aurianna Crane and Stella Reed, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Alana Trujillo and her four assists. Dalia Gonzalez Banda controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

James Irwin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Banning Lewis Academy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-6.

Coming up, James Irwin will be taking part in a tournament against Lyons at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Banning Lewis Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
