Softball Recap: Spencerport Comes Up Short

Spencerport blew Bishop Kearney out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Bishop Kearney got their revenge. The Rangers fell just short of the Kings by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Rangers have suffered since April 26, 2024.

Spencerport has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Bishop Kearney, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

As of now, neither Spencerport nor the Kings have any future games scheduled.
