Football Recap: Maxim Yarborough and Hayden Avants Lead the Defense for Bogue Chitto Win

Bogue Chitto won the last time they faced St. Andrew's Episcopal, and Jayden Poole did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bobcats took down the Saints 29-10 on Friday for which the team can thank Poole, who rushed for 241 yards and one score while picking up 15.1 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 90 yards.

Bogue Chitto's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Bogue Chitto wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 35-7 defeat against Loyd Star on the 19th. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 44-21 loss against McAdams on the 19th.
