Volleyball Recap: Marshalltown Comes Up Short

Marshalltown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Lincoln Lynx. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Lynx when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Marshalltown's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lincoln, they moved to 4-10 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Marshalltown has already played their next contest (against Waterloo East), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Oskaloosa on the 13th.
