Basketball Recap: Maumee Takes a Loss

Maumee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-56 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eastwood Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-37 back in December of 2024.

Maumee's record now sits at 4-12. As for Eastwood, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Maumee will be playing at home against Oak Harbor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eastwood, they will challenge Fostoria at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
