Glenelg extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 9-3 in the process. They put the hurt on the Howard Lions with a sharp 14-4 win. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

As for Howard, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-1. They have struggled against Glenelg recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

For Howard's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Coleman, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Glenelg is set to face off against their familiar foe Wilde Lake at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Gladiators' favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while the Wildecats have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
