Soccer Recap: Park Crossing Comes Up Short

Park Crossing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Autaugaville Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Thunderbirds have lost by just one goal.

Park Crossing's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Autaugaville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Park Crossing challenge the Booker T. Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Autaugaville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
