Basketball Recap: Socorro Takes a Loss

Socorro lost against Hot Springs back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Socorro Warriors had to suffer through a 66-37 loss at the hands of the Hot Springs Tigers. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Socorro's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Hot Springs, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-7.

Coming up, Socorro will face off against Hatch Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Socorro is facing Hatch Valley at the right time seeing as Hatch Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Hot Springs, they are taking a road trip to challenge Cobre at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hot Springs knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Cobre likes a good challenge.
