After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Beaumont United, Nimitz was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They breezed past the MacArthur Generals to the tune of 51-7. The Cougars have beaten the Generals the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Generals has come to flipping the script.

Nimitz's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for MacArthur, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Nimitz will square off against rival Aldine at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. Meanwhile, MacArthur is set to take on their familiar foe Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
