Football Game Preview: DeSales Colts vs. Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions + How To Watch

For the first time this season, DeSales will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in DeSales' favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.

It looked like the Kentucky Derby when DeSales faced off against Bishop Brossart on Friday. The Colts blew past the Mustangs 35-7.

Cameron Bischoff was his usual excellent self, rushing for 80 yards and two TDs on only six carries, while also throwing for 187 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 80 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Caleb Choate was another key player, rushing for 76 yards and one score on only nine carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: DeSales was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 215 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Christian Academy-Louisville put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Bowling Green, sneaking past 27-24. Those 27 points were actually the fewest the Centurions have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Christian Academy-Louisville's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for DeSales, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

DeSales was dealt a bruising 51-0 defeat at the hands of Christian Academy-Louisville in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Can the Colts avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
