Volleyball Game Preview: Canajoharie/Fort Plain vs. Fonda-Fultonville Valley Hawks

Canajoharie/Fort Plain will venture away from home to take on the Fonda-Fultonville Valley Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Canajoharie/Fort Plain lost 3-0 to Mekeel Christian Academy last Wednesday.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-9, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Fonda-Fultonville waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-20.

Canajoharie/Fort Plain better focus on containing Onaleah Egelston and Sigourney Myles as the pair were huge in Fonda-Fultonville's win. Egelston had 17 digs, 15 kills, and one block, while Myles had 13 digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Myles a new career-high. Gianna Ciaccio was another key player, getting 14 digs.

Fonda-Fultonville was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in six consecutive matchups.

Canajoharie/Fort Plain now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Fonda-Fultonville, their record is now 12-3-2.
