Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Cox Mill

Cox Mill barely beat Hickory Ridge the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Chargers put the hurt on the Ragin' Bulls with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Chargers as they're now sitting on four straight.

The win didn't come easy: Hickory Ridge scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-22.

Jordyn Gray paced Cox Mill's offense, picking up 12 kills. Gray got some help from Alaina Walker and her 15 assists. Tatiana Arenas controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Cox Mill's victory bumped their record up to 24-1. As for Hickory Ridge, they moved to 20-7 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Cox Mill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hickory Ridge, they will welcome Porter Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
