Baseball Recap: Proctor Gets the Win

The Proctor Phantoms sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 17-16 win over Paine Mountain on Tuesday.

Proctor got a massive performance out of Riley Cannucci, who went 3-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and three doubles. Those three hits gave Cannucci a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Domonic Bourdeau, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Proctor now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Paine Mountain, their record is now 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Proctor will head out to take on Mt. St. Joseph Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Paine Mountain, they will venture away from home to face off against Bellows Free Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
