Volleyball Recap: Whittier Christian Takes a Loss

Whittier Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seton Catholic Sentinels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sentinels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

Seton Catholic can attribute much of their success to Claire Kochis, who had seven digs and three aces. Those seven digs gave Kochis a new career-high.

Whittier Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17-1. As for Seton Catholic, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Coming up, Whittier Christian will face off against Valley Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seton Catholic, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Combs on the 27th.
