Benedictine won the last time they faced Woodberry Forest and things went their way on Friday too. The Cadets beat the Tigers by a goal, winning 1-0. Benedictine's winning goal came courtesy of Noah Gill.

The win made it two in a row for Benedictine and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Woodberry Forest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Benedictine will take on Trinity Episcopal at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodberry Forest, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-3 win against Fork Union Military Academy on the 13th.
