Soccer Recap: St. James vs. Cane Bay
St. James was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell just short of the Cane Bay Cobras by a score of 4-3. River Benjamin probably wasn't too happy after the match: he scored every single goal for St. James and still walked away on the losing team.
St. James' defeat dropped their record down to 4-17-1. As for Cane Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9-1.
St. James does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cane Bay, they will head out on the road to square off against Ashley Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ashley Ridge is coming into the game with ten straight wins at home, so Cane Bay will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
