South View lost against Seventy-First back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers lost 46-22 to the Falcons. When it comes to explaining why South View lost, don't look at Cristian Simmons. Despite the final result, he rushed for 120 yards and two TDs. Simmons' rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards.

This is the second loss in a row for South View and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Seventy-First, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

South View didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-37 loss against Harnett Central on the 7th. Seventy-First does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
