Softball Recap: McClintock Comes Up Short

After soaring to 22 runs the game before, McClintock was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 15-2 to the Gila Ridge Hawks. The game marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Stefanie McCarty made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

McClintock's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Gila Ridge, their record is now 6-3.

McClintock wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 9-2 loss against Chaparral on the 27th. As for Gila Ridge, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Skyline at 11:00 a.m. on April 5.
