Rosemont extended their winning streak to five on Friday, bumping them up to 5-0. They breezed past the Rio Vista Rams to the tune of 72-40. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 29 points or more this season.

Gus Bailey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 27 points and 19 boards. Those 27 points gave him a new career-high. Greg Takahara was another key player, putting up 14 points.

As for Rio Vista, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4. The game marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Rio Vista lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Luke Fortes, who posted six points and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 12 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Scott Lazo, who scored seven points.
